kept and guarded - new music from claire

I write and perform songs (some of my stuff can be found at http://songs.mistersun.org - although, this was done almost two years ago, and my music style has developed a bit since then). Recently, I've accumulated quite a lot of songs that I haven't been able to record yet. I'm looking to record them during the summer and hopefully produce a CD of new material. "kept and guarded" is the working title (will probably be changed, as will the current display picture, heh), and it should have at least 10 songs. Recording is costly, though, and it doesn't help that my Korg literally broke some months ago. I'm still a student, it's harder to record good piano-based music than it is guitar music, and in addition to that, I need to record multiple tracks simultaneously, because I sing and play at the same time (i.e. the music's rather emotive; it slows down and speeds up very unpredictably). All things considered, the best option is to go to a modest recording studio to record, this summer.

So, the deal is: contribute US$5, and you'll get the CD when it comes out (at no extra cost!), if I manage to get 20 people to contribute US$5 each.
